The CamMobile® Crawler
The Kummert crawler facilitates the inspection of manholes and sewer sections from DN200 to DN1000 over a distance of up to 200 meters. Four powerful electronic commutated (EC) motors individually drive each wheel. A sensor measures the slope of the cross axis, thus automatically steering the crawler back into the invert and ensuring that it does not tip over.
The pan and tilt camera, permanently fixated to the lift arm, is equipped with 16 high-power equal-white LEDs and ensures recordings of outstanding image sharpness. This enables you to take a still image from any video picture.
Furthermore, the motor-driven lift arm is continuously adjustable, thus keeping the camera in the center of the pipe from DN200 to DN800. Moreover, the camera always shows an upright, correctly positioned image.
The two supplied sets of wheel spacers are quickly mounted and extend the wheelbase. This way, you can also survey pipes of DN300 or larger and DN 500 or larger, respectively, in an optimal way.
The supplied accessories' case offers room for both sets of wheel spacers with bolts, a torque wrench and an air pump for adjusting the crawler's internal pressure.

Cable Drum
The electric cable drum automatically controls the process of unwinding and rewinding the 200-meter-long cable, matching the crawler’s speed. Nevertheless, you can switch to manual operation at any point of time during the survey and conduct operation directly at the cable drum. The Kevlar® reinforced cable ensures high tensile strength.
The integrated meter count enables you to take precise length measurements, which are shown on the screen of the CamMobile® Profi 3. The meter count can be reset to zero at any time.

Pulley
The pulley provides for secure and easy lowering of the crawler into a manhole up to 5.5 m deep. Even if the cable is already connected to the crawler, it can subsequently be inserted into the pulley guides.
The freewheel brake prevents unwanted lowering of the crawler. To transport the pulley, tightly reel up the lowering belt as well as the single guides and fasten them with the carrying handle used as a clamp. Just set the pulley on top of the cable drum and everything is put away in a compact manner.
